Dr Mwaffak Rabih, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Mwaffak Rabih has been caring for smiles in Wellington since 2001. He graduated in 1991 and made the move to New Zealand in 1999, later completing the NZDREX program at the University of Otago. He's a proud member of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) and is also registered to practice in Australia (AHPRA). In 2003, he took a big step and founded Peninsula Dental Centre from the ground up.
Passionate about helping people feel confident in their smiles, Dr. Rabih enjoys all aspects of dentistry, from Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry to Orthodontics, Endodontics, and Surgery. He's dedicated to making every visit a positive and comfortable experience for his patients.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Rabih loves staying active—whether it's playing football or working on his golf swing. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and unwinding in the garden, which has become one of his favourite ways to relax.
Dr Mostafa Khairallah, DDS
Dentist
Dr Mo was born in Egypt and lived in Canada for 12 years. He attended the University of Saskatchewan, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. He then received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in Dunedin.
Dr Mo is passionate about community involvement. In addition to extensive community volunteering, he has been involved in national dentistry groups and has held various positions at the College of Dentistry. For his work, Dr Mo has received numerous scholarships from organizations such as the New Zealand Dental Association and looks forward to continued involvement in the community.
Apart from dentistry, he enjoys travelling and spending time with his family. He also likes to stay active, whether going to the gym, playing basketball, spending time at the lake, or hiking.
Dr Mo says he is very excited to join such a friendly and tight-knit community. He is passionate about learning and can't wait to bring all his knowledge to our community. He has already joined CrossFit and the gym but would love to be involved in other community sports!
Mrs Majdoleen (Maggie) Al-Asad, NZDA

I hold a degree in Computer Science and am also a qualified NZDA Chairside Assistant. In addition to my role in the dental field, I have a passion for photography, especially capturing nature and portraits.

Receptionist & Dental Assistant
I have been with Peninsula Dental since 2006, serving as the receptionist and administrator and assisting in the surgery when needed. I hold an NZDA Chairside Assistant certificate. Outside of work, I enjoy athletics, walking on Wellington walkways, and horse riding.
I look forward to caring for your needs and ensuring a smooth experience at our practice.
I'm terrified of the dentist... came in crying but Dr Khairallah and the staff are so kinda and understanding put me at ease and made me feel safe in an environment I was scared of. Great experience, very patient, would recommend to all.
